James Grant qualified the Guilds Hall school of music and drama in 1998 and is the founding director to Adhoc Entertainment Ltd established in 2005. His current client portfolio includes the Tower of London (Historic Royal Palaces) where James met the Queen having served as a venue host.
In his earlier years, James pushed his talents into television and regularly featured on many popular TV shows including Casulty (BBC), Grange Hill (BBC) and The Bill (ITV). Film credits were to include roles in the national cinema release of 'Oscar Wilde'. In a complete reversal, James now supplies acts for Television shows, more recently providing extras and performers for ITV2.
Currently the owner of two successful businesses including entertainments company 'Adhoc Ltd', James supplies professional events and acts for many reputable companies and venues which have included West Ham FC, Laura Ashley Hotels, Woolston Manor and The Met Police Club. Working in top venues gives him the pleasure and experience of working for and alongside celebrities such as Frank Lampard, Gary Lineker and Denise Van Outen. James also spent the best part of a few years working closely with Stacey Solomon and Eurovision 2010 UK entry Josh Dubovie.
James joined the Factor Essex panel officially during Series 2, after featuring as a guest judge back in Series 1. Collectively with the competition, with additional shows and performances, he has auditioned well over 1500 performer's.
He is the current presenter of The Essex Entertainment Awards (EEA), South East Entertainment Awards (SEEA) and is the show host of Disney's Dance Camp (Paris).
